LET'S GET TO THE QUESTIONS....AND ANSWERS!

Who is camp for?

Achieve and Believe Camp (ABC) is for elementary thru High School runners who desire to train at outdoors and grow in the Christian faith with other like-minded runners.  Athletic abilities will vary but we run with one common purpose, to Love God, Love People, and Love Running.

How much do we run each day?

We are not your coach and do our best to accommodate your training plans. Most athletes younger athletes run between 2-5 miles each morning, with the option of a second run or cross-training in the afternoon. Most older Athletes run between 5-10 miles each morning, with the option of a second run or cross-training in the afternoon. However, the runs are flexible and can be tailored to your individual training needs.

Do you offer Scholarships?

Yes, when possible. Thanks to our generous donors, we have some scholarship funds available.  Please email us directly or complete our scholarship application and we’ll get back to you.

Do you offer Discounts?

We are trying keep cost low across the board so no discounts are offered. If you have a team or siblings please reach out by email to inquire.

Do I have to be a Christian to come?

No. Anyone who is open to learning about the Christian faith is welcome to come. We devote an equal amount of time to physical and spiritual development.

Is overnight an option?

Our camp is not offering an overnight camping option yet, and this will also help keep cost down. We are working on some options in the future.

What if I have dietary restrictions? What is the food like?

Our food is fantastic and quick! We encourage our picky eaters to bring a substitute option or healthy snack to supplement. Brunch offers a fruit and cereal bar, while lunch offers some simple sandwich options. Dinner is typically a warm meal. Older Athletes share responsibilities in the kitchen and may learn a thing or two about cooking on their day in meal rotation.

Can parents stay?

We love parent involvement. All we ask is that you play an active role with our team. Kids adapt and the amount of physical and spiritual growth you child receives is largely based on their team play thru the week. Your presence should support that and encourage that, and of course, we will want you to run with us. Special accommodations can be made for medical conditions, be sure to reach out to the camp directly before enrolling your child in those circumstances.

Where are you located?

Achieve and Believe Camp is run by staff that operates remotely. We intend to partner with FBC Lodi in Lodi for our home-base. Drop-off and Pick-up of Athletes will be at that site. Although our runs will take us around the city including Lodi Lake and all the nature that Lodi provides. Please email us with any questions and we’ll do our best to get back with you promptly, include a telephone number if that method is preferred for contact.
